Welcome to Tiny Tangles Handmade, a trading name of Tiny Tangles (Pty) Ltd ("Tiny Tangles", "we", "our", or "us"). These Website Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Tiny Tangles Handmade website. By accessing, browsing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Returns & Refund Policy. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act, ECTA, and POPIA.

About Tiny Tangles

Tiny Tangles Handmade is a South African business specialising in handcrafted baby and children's products. Because every item is individually crafted, slight variations in colour, fabric placement, stitching and finish may occur. These natural variations are part of the unique character of handmade products and are not considered defects.

Eligibility

By using this website or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have parental permission), have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement, will provide accurate information, and will use this website only for lawful purposes.

Products & Product Information

All product descriptions, photographs and pricing are as accurate as possible. Slight variations in colour, fabric, texture and finish are a natural characteristic of handmade products and do not constitute defects. All measurements are approximate. We reserve the right to update or discontinue products at any time without prior notice.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice — changes will not affect already confirmed and paid orders. Orders are only processed once full payment has been successfully received. In the event of an obvious pricing error, Tiny Tangles reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund before dispatch.

Orders & Acceptance

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase but does not guarantee acceptance. An order is only accepted once payment has been received and an order confirmation issued. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders where a product is unavailable, there is a pricing error, or fraudulent activity is suspected. For personalised or made-to-order products, production begins only once payment and personalisation details have been confirmed.

Shipping & Delivery

Tiny Tangles delivers throughout South Africa using trusted courier services. Estimated delivery times are for guidance only. Tiny Tangles cannot be held responsible for delays caused by courier services, weather, public holidays, load shedding or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Risk in the products passes to you once delivered to the address provided at checkout. Further details are in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Returns & Refunds

Returns, refunds and exchanges are handled in accordance with our Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Personalised, custom-made or made-to-order items may not be eligible for return except where required by applicable South African law. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008. Please contact us before returning any product.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including our logo, branding, product designs, photographs, graphics, text and other materials — is the intellectual property of Tiny Tangles (Pty) Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Content may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to: use it for fraudulent purposes, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malware, copy or exploit content without permission, or interfere with the website's security or functionality. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where these Terms have been breached.

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Tiny Tangles shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of this website or our products. Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or other applicable legislation. Customers are responsible for using products in accordance with the care and safety instructions provided.

Governing Law
